Dada Netova, whose real name is Oksana Grigorenko, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, where she lives and works now. She has two high school diplomas (St. Petersburg State University of Cinema and TV Communications, 1999) and holds a doctorate in psychology (International University of Fundamental Studies, 2008). She teaches master-classes in drawing and painting, gives individual psychological consultations. Psychology of arts is a subject of her interest to study, so she is an author of the unique technique in teaching drawing and painting, and also of some other art therapy techniques which improve human activities in everyday live.

Along with her psychological activities, she is professionally dealing with producing art dolls.

For several years, Oksana worked for TV. She was the author of two programs: Book Worshipers (27 Channel, St. Petersburg), and Magic of Woman (36 Channel, St. Petersburg). In the spring of 2002, Vladimir Kartashov (1957-2002, cinema artist and painter) offered her to co-operate with Sergey Bodrov, Jr. (1971-2002, actor and film director). The cooperation was broken with the catastrophe in Carmadoni Pass which caused the death of Kartashov and Bodrov.

In 2004, Ivar Pozharsky (watercolorist, producer, owner of the Valencia Gallery, St. Petersburg) offered her to participate in his project Virtual Mirrors as a head-liner. That was the beginning of her artistic carrier. In 2006, she met O. N. Sorokin, the creator of Dimension Perception Theory; this acknowledgment leads to her studying psychology of creative activities. The artistic works of the author have always been in demand among people who saw them. («They are strange... They are hard to forget», this is the comment of one of the visitors of the Virtual Mirrors.) With no strong advertisement the author, however, is actual among the socially active and sensitive public. It is no wonder if you know the author’s conceptual point about which she says: I am not eager to display reality as if I were a fair judge. My aim is to show the looker the way emotional and sensitive experience transforms the world around me. Somewhat sensitive Impressionism. People can feel interested in something only when our emotions meet in how they transform the life around us.
